History

Lansdowne Bakery is situated in Lansdown (née Lansdowne) Road in Bude. It is one of the oldest working bakeries in Cornwall, first opening its doors in 1839.

Prior to 1839 the bakehouse was the town's original Methodist Chapel.

Although the insides have changed considerably over the years, the building still remains; providing handmade products to the residents of the town and surrounding villages.
